“It’s really different from other grasses, and es- pecially from Emerald Zoysia and the other Zoysia grasses we’re used to,” says Sean Fong, owner of Ha- waiian Turfgrass, the state’s exclusive licensed pro- ducer of Zeon Zoysia. “Nobody wanted to sit or walk on the old Zoysia. It was hard to mow and maintain.”
Zeon Zoysia, Fong explains, has completely dif- ferent characteristics.
“A thick mat of Zeon Zoysia feels almost like a lux- urious carpet under bare feet,” he says. “It’s incredibly soft, with a ‘wow factor’ look. Pets love it, too!”
