The home on Kapahulu Avenue was built with impressive efficiency by a Rui Construction crew led by Ray Xie, who happens to be Jon’s father.

“They tore the old house down to the foundation, and built the new house from the ground up,” says Jon. “There were some delays with supply chains, but they managed to get it done within six or seven months.”
