Remodeled bath: A great gift
For a holiday gift that will please the whole family, consider a bathroom renovation, or perhaps simply adding a new walk-in shower.

“Before starting the selection and design process, the first step is to acquaint our remodeler with the project area. If a complete renovation is called for, chances are the homeowner already has a good idea of what they will want upgraded or replaced. The options will generally include the shower and other fixtures as well as countertops, cabinets, and finishes … all of which will be laid out in the design plan. We assist with budgeting and set up a work schedule that accommodates family members.”
Beeck notes that walk-in showers are Tropical Plumbing and Bath’s most popular single fixture installation, usually replacing an old-fashioned stall shower or bathtub.
“All our walk-in showers are customized to the homeowner’s specifications,” he says. “Our remodeler reviews all the options in features and accessories that can be incorporated into the shower based on household needs and the space available.”
Some of these options include shower sprays, both overhead rain shower and hand-held styles with spray intensity varying from gentle to massage, seats, grab bars, compartments for soaps and shampoos, and non-slip flooring; wheelchair accessible designs can be specified.
