Made for the modern home
The New Year is traditionally a time for de-cluttering, cleaning, repairing, and renewal. Just in time for your spring-cleaning and renovation projects, Rui Building Supply in Honolulu has received a new shipment of furnishings that are perfect for modern kitchens.
Rui’s handsome new cabinets are built in a simple Shaker style that beautifully complements a transitionally styled kitchen.
“They have a smooth surface; they’re frameless and clean,” said Jon Xie, manager of the building supply showroom.
Available in both pristine white and rich espresso shades, the cabinets are durable and resistant to moisture and scratches. Thanks to their acrylic finish, they’re easy to maintain, too — just wipe them down with soap and water, and they look as good as new.
“We’re setting up a showcase for them, so clients are welcome to visit and see how beautiful they are!” said Xie.
Also new in the showroom: spectacular new light selections that you’ll want to check out as you make your renovation plans.
“They’re LED overhead fixtures, and we have plenty of new designs,” Xie said. “There’s lighting for living and bedrooms and kitchens, practically every room in the house, and in all kinds of sizes from very small to very large.”
Because they produce light far more efficiently than incandescent lights, LED fixtures are terrific for energy conservation. And because they give off almost no heat, they’re perfect for kitchens and bathrooms.
Visit Rui Building Supply’s showroom on Sand Island Access Road and you’ll find a compact but efficiently arranged showroom, packed with an incredible array of furnishings, fixtures, flooring, and more, in a variety of styles and designs.
“We have a few more selections of tiles in the showroom, but we’ll only have them in stock for a limited period,” Xie said. “Our stock includes porcelain tiles that look like marble, and pebble tiles in rich colors with rough textures and patterns, so they’re not as slippery; they’re easier for toes to grip.”
Don’t worry about taking measurements for counter-tops, cabinets, or flooring. Rui can send a contractor to your home at your convenience, to provide a comprehensive pre-estimate, layout, and design for your project. It’s a free service provided by this friendly, unique little company.
One last tip about shopping at Rui: remember to ask about markdowns and sales. “We always have discounts; just inquire when you swing by,” advised Xie. “We can always help you find something that’s right for you, at the right price!”
