Renovations for kitchens and baths is an especially important subject, according to Montage Decor’s project manager Kris Kawamoto, since the holidays are right around the corner.

“To get ready for the holidays, many people are thinking about upgrading their kitchens and baths,” Kawamoto said. “Because we’re part of the Hawaii Carpenters Union, we have union workers working on our projects. This allows us to pull additional manpower, so there’s a chance you can get your project completed by the end of the year.”

“Because of the permitting process and the length of time it takes to process permits, we need to start renovation projects now in order to complete them by the end of the year,” project manager Gus Glauber added. “Everybody’s already thinking about the holidays and bringing family and friends into their homes.”

Because Montage Decor is a one-stop shop, Glauber encourages customers to check out the local business, whether they’re in the market for new home builds or renovations. He said the company will work on a project from concept to completion, including permitting and design. As added incentive, there’s a bonus for customers who do attend the upcoming workshop.
