When it comes to making the home-building process an enjoyable one, Atlas Construction is your one-stop shop. Not only does the company place the homeowner’s best interests before profit, it also is well known for its superior customer service, according to owner Bruce Kim.

“Customer service sets us apart from all other companies,” Kim confirmed.

Because customer service is integral to local homeowners’ experience with Atlas, the company has a specific set of core values, along with a mission statement. In terms of the company’s building philosophy, making sure that every Atlas employee is on the same page, Kim said, is the purpose of the core values.

“The care and workmanship has diluted all the way down to our field workers,” he said. “We’re a growing company; we currently have 65 carpenters. To get our message across — how we build and how we value customer service — we had to come up with a specific mission statement and core values so it could transcend and filter throughout the whole company.”

Atlas is a locally owned, family business that has been building and remodeling homes for four generations.
