Hawaii artist and owner of Designs Reimagined LLC Brad Kimo Heinicke, wants you to bring the outdoors in. Born and raised on Oahu, Heinicke has lived away from home for many years. He has worked in San Diego, California for Nature Company, in Phoenix, Arizona for Plant Solutions and has built a successful reputation with 30 years of experience in plant and floral design, visual merchandising and interior and exterior scaping. Heinicke’s award-winning designs have been featured in Arizona Foothills and Phoenix Home and Garden magazines, and design awards include the People’s Choice Award at Phoenix Art Museum’s annual Arts & Flowers exposition. Locally, he took first place at the 2015 Hawaii Lodging Hospitality & Foodservice Expo held at Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu.
Working from his home studio in Mililani, Heinicke transforms natural ferns, moss, driftwood, air plants and other materials into refined works of art that are easy to maintain and, because they are preserved, they will last for years. The designer is available for maintenance of custom interior spaces, including potted live plants, indoor garden areas and living wall plant installations, as well as consultation for clients needing assistance.
