WOR and Habitat for Humanity Leeward Oahu (HHLO) continue its partnership to provide/replace roofs for those in need.

HHLO selected a family that needed help and WOR volunteered to replace the roof. Awesome volunteers from HHLO helped in the removal of the old roof, and the highly skilled roofing employees from WOR installed plywood sheathing and Malarkey Highlander shingle roofing, which was provided by ABC Supply Company Inc. & Malarkey Roofing Products.

“After coping with a badly damaged roof for the past two years, the Haasenritter family (are) now enjoying the comfort of a beautiful new roof, compliments of West Oahu Roofing and other material suppliers, including volunteers from HHLO,” noted HHLO executive director Jo Bautista.

You can expect WOR to go above and beyond for all of its customers, as the company also believes in giving back to the community and helping those who are less fortunate.

“I am proud of the direction WOR is going, and our partnership with HHLO is our way to exhibit our dedication to provide quality workmanship, excellent customer satisfaction and to help families in need,” said WOR owner Bernard Balais.

Bautista also added that “WOR even supplied us with a portable toilet, Bobcat with an operator, a large trash bin and other tools to assist our volunteers. Our partnership with WOR has exceeded all expectations. We are extremely grateful to Bernard, his family and employees.”

WOR looks forward to this continued partnership with HHLO to share its knowledge and skill with families that definitely deserve it.
