The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA-Hawaii) will present its 56th annual BIA Parade of Homes during the open house weekends of Oct. 6-7 and 13-14. This premier statewide showcase of new homes in Hawaii will educate consumers on the latest trends, technology and design innovations in residential construction.

Early Bird entries will be eligible for advance media exposure, but must submit their entry forms and payment by July 13. This year’s BIA Parade of Homes theme is “2012 BIA Parade of Homes — A New Home Revolution.”

Developers and contractors may enter single-family and multi-family homes, townhomes, high rises, builder spec homes, sales offices, units in vacation ownership projects and conversions. The 2012 Parade also will include the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Green Building Standards for residential construction. The 56th annual BIA Parade of Homes awards gala, which announces the award-winning entrants and the 2012 Grand Champion, will be held Oct. 2 at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel.
