Taking the Time to Understand the Renovation Process
Bella Pietra, Hawaii’s premier natural stone company, hosts a free workshop, How to Survive a Home Remodel, to help homeowners see their remodeling project through to completion, all while enjoying the process and keeping their sanity intact. The workshop will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 23 at Bella Pietra’s showroom and warehouse located at 701 N. Nimitz Hwy.
“So often, people come to us at the very end of their renovation or new build to choose their finishes and are absolutely exhausted,” said Layla Dedrick, Bella Pietra owner and CEO. “But this should be the most fun part of the process, where homeowners choose the finishing touches such as the countertops, flooring and paint. This is the icing on the cake, so to speak. It’s through the finishes that the homeowner can truly put their stamp on the project, by showcasing their own personal style and taste. Whilst home remodeling can be hard work, it shouldn’t need to be. This free seminar will help homeowners relish this part of the process as they see their dreams come together.”
Attendees will get a light-hearted look at surviving a home remodeling project, presented by Dedrick and Evan Fujimoto, president of Graham Builders, one of Hawaii’s leading design + build firms.
“A home renovation project should be exciting,” said Fujimoto. “Homeowners who take the time to learn and understand how the renovation process works will be much better prepared and can actually enjoy creating the new space.”
Topics that will be covered in How to Survive a Home Remodel include:
• What to expect and what questions to ask
• How to mentally and emotionally prepare
• Creating a vision book
• Choosing a contractor
• The beauty of finishes
Seminars are free, but very popular. To ensure your seat, reservations are highly recommended. Visit www.bellapietra.com to register.
