Creative Furniture is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1989. We have been located in the same location at 943 Waimanu St. in Kakaako for more than 20 years. We began as a premier futon and sofa-bed store featuring quality rattan/wicker furniture from Kings Rattan in Ontario, California (www.kingsrattan.com).
The company offers a complete line of living room, bedroom suite, dinettes, bar and bar stools, sleepers, recliners and accessories. The frames come in a choice of finishes, and there are a wide range of fabrics for the customers to choose from to fit their tastes and lifestyles.
They use only quality 35 millimeter A/B poles and wicker materials to manufacture their products. Some frames are made with rattan of 44 millimeters plus. The rattan is fish-mouth jointed together with screws and dowels to create a strong structural rattan frame that will last for years to come. Besides, the company uses leather bindings to wrap all the joints to add overall value and strength. All mechanisms are U.S. made and warrantied by Leggef and Platt. The upholstery is made from quality polyurethane foam to ensure durability and loft. All cushions are wrapped with Dacron fiber to create the loft and achieve the initial softness.
