JULY 10, 2022 HAWAII RENOVATION 5
If there is one thing Shirley Hilton of Kahala Floors agrees with, it is that
change is good! The company moved locations, and a few staff members got hit with COVID and a few other bad surprises. However, the company has landed right on its feet and is happy to share all the good
news with you.
Just to give you a history, the com-
pany first spent a few years as Pacific Imports International, then morphed into Kahala Pacific Floors. However, to be in alignment with its excellent Kahala Floors brand of flooring products, as of the new year, the business is now known simply as Kahala Floors. It also moved to a beautiful new showroom located at 1540 S. King St., in the middle of town (near the intersection of King
Street and Kalakaua Avenue).
Having a much more modern and stylish
showroom, Kahala Floors still offers the same fine selection of solid, engineered and waterproof wood flooring, luxury vinyl (WPC and SPC), natu- ral stone, tile and carpet. Brands include Kahala Floors, Outrigger Vinyl, Provenza, California Clas- sics, Bravada, Pacific Direct Industries, Anderson Floors, City Expressions, Savannah, Aquarius, Mo- hawk, Shaw, Daltile and many others. The showroom
is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.
The company is especially proud of the beautiful quality-engineered wood floors in its Kahala Floors line. Kahala Floors was a true pioneer in bringing high-quality engineered exotic woods to Hawaii, first introducing Cumaru, Ipe, Tigerwood and others more than 15 years ago. It has sold literally millions of square feet of its flooring since then. Kahala Floors engi- neered woods feature a 4mm top wear layer that can
be refinished several times over, giving you a lifetime of beautiful enjoyment.
And it also features an in-house brand of luxury vi- nyl: Outrigger SPC Vinyl flooring. Made by some of the most experienced vinyl manufacturers, its quality is second to none. And the best part about both its wood and vinyl is the cutting out of the middle man. Customers get factory-direct prices that save money without giving up a thing.
The company also offers licensed flooring installation under its Kahala Flooring Contractors division. It can offer you many references of past customers who are extremely happy with the excellent service and qual- ity of work.
And last but not least, if patrons would like to learn more about flooring and what might suit one’s next big change, please sign up for the Great Flooring 101 webinars, which are held quarterly. Kahala Floors truly believes in educating its customers before selling to them and also offers a special discount for attendees. Call 808-847-7711 for more information.
