A few years ago, I com- pletely remodeled a large home in the Portlock in the Hawaii Kai area. We added a new second-story master bedroom, master bath and a huge new kitchen with vault- ed ceilings. The kitchen coun- ters were all made of granite and the bedroom floors were real oak wood, not the lami- nate type.
After completion, the owner was very satisfied and gave a few comments: “Aloha, homeowners.
