Anew custom home designed and built by Homeworks Con-
struction is in progress in the St. Louis neighborhood, replacing the 80-year-old home that previously occu- pied the 6,000-square-foot sloping lot.
Demolition of the original structure and site clearing were completed in Novem- ber and December (see photo). Site leveling, foun- dation work and placement of retaining walls continues (see photo).
Sylvio Boucher, Home- works Construction presi- dent and chief of field opera- tions (shown in photo), says the new home will provide the family with more than double the amount of space of the original home, which was built by the owner’s grandfather in 1942.
