Examine your lifestyle and housekeeping practices. Consider the kind of home you live in (single family or condo), whether your envi- ronment is wet or dry, and whether you have a wood or concrete subfloor to de- termine what might be best.
GET THE RIGHT INSTALLER OR DIY INFO
To get the best installation, hire a licensed professional. They should know the proper
procedures for testing for ex- cess moisture, what installa- tion method is best for your home, proper preparation of the subfloor and more. If you plan to do it yourself, consult a reputable source, such as the National Wood Floor- ing Association and follow manufacturer’s instructions to preserve your warranty.
