As part of American Heart Month in February, we celebrate affairs of the heart and the health of our hearts. At Nano Tek-On, every month is a celebration of something important to the heart of your home — its plumbing.
If you sat down to talk to Harald von Sydow, director of Nano Tek-On, you’d learn all about how the plumbing in your home works like the arteries in your body. If your arteries are clogged, your heart has to work harder and harder to pump your blood. Ultimately, you could have a heart attack. Similarly, if calcium deposits and limescale are allowed to build up in your home’s plumbing, the water flows slower and slower and can eventually require a complete overhaul of your plumbing system.
Open-heart surgery on your plumbing system is a very expensive procedure, and although such buildup is inevitable in Hawaii’s homes, Harald, like a cardiology consultant, will explain how through the science of nanotechnology, such buildup can be eliminated and prevented from reoccurring.
Cardiologists use stents to open up arteries. Mr. von Sydow will tell you about the little unit called HydroFlow, a non-invasive procedure. Through the science of nanotechnology, HydroFlow attaches to the outside of your plumbing (no cutting of pipes) and then it goes to work to rid the pipes of corrosion and limescale. HydroFlow is silent, doesn’t change the taste of your water and is environmentally safe.
Some medical interventions have harmful side effects. This is not the case with HydroFlow, which accentuates the positive. It also goes to work to reduce (and make it easier to remove) water spots on your bathroom fixtures, and the reduction in limescale buildup increases the lifespan of all of your water-using appliances (hot water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines). Plus, once the water starts flowing more freely through the plumbing system, you won’t be wasting water or the money that wasted water eats up.
Some refer to HydroFlow as a water conditioner. There are major differences between HydroFlow and everyday water conditioners. Most add sodium ions to breakdown the calcium in the water. Frequent salt replacement must be purchased for the water-conditioning equipment. It’s a known fact that excess salt is not good for the human heart as well. Once HydroFlow is installed (and you can install it yourself), there is nothing additional to purchase and the water does not run through anything other than your pipes. No salt is added.
HydroFlow is healthy for the heart of your home and for your heart as well. To learn more about how you can prevent your plumbing from having a heart attack, call 395-2996 or visit nanotekhi.com.
