The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA-Hawaii) is very committed to our mission to “Enhance the Quality of Life for the People of Hawaii.” Our members are dedicated professionals representing developers, general contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers and associates. As part of its dedication, members put on the annual BIA Home Building & Remodeling Show, which will be held Jan. 25-27 at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
The showcase of building industry experts and companies will offer consumers thousands of new products, services, building trends and remodeling techniques. It is also a very unique opportunity to ask questions, gather information and establish connections with the owners and senior managers of Hawaii’s top contractors and suppliers.
“The Big Show” will offer homeowners free consultations and special event seminars to provide additional resources for remodeling and new home construction projects. Consumers can come to one centralized location and discover the latest technological advances in building materials, appliances, construction innovations, architectural and interior design.
Special event seminars will include “How to Save Energy Inside and Outside Your Home” by Derrick T. Sonoda of Hawaii Energy and Eric Carlson of RevoluSun, and “The Latest Trends to Create Your Dream Kitchens and Bathrooms” by Marshall Hickox of Homeworks Construction Inc. and Randall Omoto of Homeowners Design Center, presented on Jan. 26; and “What is Safe Senior Living and How to Make Your House into an Ohana Home for All” by Curt
Kiriu of CK Independent Living Builders and Dexter Suzuki of EOM Hawaii on Jan. 27.
