All-inclusive service at its finest

For a company that will be with you from start to finish, Ozzy’s Construction Inc. is your one-stop shop. Founded by Ozzy Naweli in 2006, the company has been taking care of a variety of customers’ needs since then, including demolition, masonry, framing, electrical, plumbing and more.
“If anybody hires us to be their contractor, we’ll demo the old house for free,” Naweli said. “That’s what we’re known for. We don’t sub-out our work; from demolition to finished carpentry, we do it all in-house.”
Ozzy’s Construction has a reputation for doing free demolition with any new build. This not only saves its customers time and money, but also it proves to be a green effort on the company’s behalf.
“After the demolition, we take the lumber to the landfill, where it’s recycled,” Naweli explained. “The money customers save on the demolition can be used for upgrades, appliances and furnishings.”
To simplify the building process, Ozzy’s Construction has a design center where customers can pick out what they want for their homes, from flooring and cabinets to light fixtures and faucets.
“We have an ABC license, which allows us to basically do everything that has to do with construction under one roof,” Naweli said. “That includes infrastructure, high-end custom homes and site work development.”
Naweli said that most customers learn about Ozzy’s Construction through referrals and the company’s website. Customer relationships are important to Naweli, who said that Ozzy’s Construction hosts building seminars once a month to help the public better understand the building process. The next building seminar is Feb. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the company’s Kapaa Quarry office. Information about building seminar dates can be found on the website.
Ozzy’s Construction also will have two booths (912 and 914) at the upcoming BIA Home Building and Remodeling Show, held at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall Jan. 22-24.
“We’re here to help customers through the whole process — design, demo, blueprints, permitting and building,” Naweli said. “Our company is licensed and bondable, which guarantees that your house is going to get finished.”
“What I like about my job is stepping back and seeing what we’ve accomplished,” he added. “I appreciate the craftsmanship — it’s why I keep striving to do better. We build houses, but we also build relationships with our customers. That’s why I keep swinging that hammer.”
