With each new year comes new goals, and for Hawaii Energy Connection, that includes helping the state achieve “100 percent renewable energy by 2045,” an effort under a law that was passed last fall.
To do this, the company is launching a brand-new home energy battery storage system at the BIA Home Building and Remodeling Show, which will be held at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall Jan. 22-24.
“Advanced home energy storage is here and we will be taking orders at the show,” confi rmed managing partner at Hawaii Energy Connection Chris DeBone.
“What’s exciting is this solution is a renewable resource that can be added today to achieve near-term, state energy goals, while maintaining fl exibility to achieve 100 percent renewables in the future,” he added.
Hawaii Energy Connection will have two booths at the upcoming show (Booths 539D and 941). One booth will feature educational seminars at various times throughout the day. The booth will include an actual display — a model system — of how energy storage works and how customers can effi ciently use it in their homes. During the special educational sessions, people can come and fi nd out more about what battery storage is all about. The new policies and new grid-supply tariff may seem confusing, but Hawaii Energy Connection will explain it all and make it less confusing.
Hawaii Energy Connection is well known as the makers of the KumuKit™ PV system.
“In fact, with over 7,000 KumuKit PV systems already installed across the islands, our customers are one of the largest Distributed Clean Energy Resources in Hawaii,” said DeBone. “We know about the new policies better than anybody, and we have these tools to help you navigate through the process.”
BIA show attendees can sign up for free site inspection at the Hawaii Energy Connection booth or online at kumukit.com.
“There’s no hassle and no commitment — during the site inspection, we just come to your house and size your system,” DeBone said. “If it makes sense, then we move forward. We want people to understand how Hawaii Energy Connection can help you do your part in meeting the renewable energy goal. Customer want to go with us because we have new technology and we’re leaders in this era of energy storage.”
