You’re on a hunt for a windows replacement company, but how do you find a company with the best service and products at the best price? Here are a few common steps and missteps people make when hiring a company to replace their windows.
• Getting estimates. Estimates can give you a good idea of what different companies charge for the same project. In fact, Windows Hawaii’s general manager Mario Garcia said, “Most people are advised to get at least three estimates before they make a decision.” This seems optimal and it’s often the first thing that customers do. However, Garcia said this overlooks one major downfall. Because services and products vary in quality, customers unknowingly “sacrifice quality for price, without even realizing it.”
• Asking for referrals. When you ask for referrals, you’re connecting with people who already have worked with the company in the past. Garcia said, “This is probably the best method, as people will refer what they deem as good service.”
• Making a decision based solely on price. Everybody wants to get a good deal. Customers easily can be lured into “too good to be true” prices in which Garcia said, often is the case. “Low priced windows obviously don’t have the quality materials that would merit a higher price point. They usually use subpar materials in order to keep the price low,” Garcia shared. While many manufacturers care more about profit than customer satisfaction, Garcia said, “Anlin manufacturers only use high quality materials. They do this in order to ensure their products — like the Ali‘i Extreme window — will outperform any window in its class.”
Windows Hawaii not only is the distributor of Anlin products, but also was voted “Hawaii’s Best” by The Honolulu Star-Advertiser two years in a row. In addition, the company has a 50 percent — and growing — referral base. Windows Hawaii has a history of caring for customers’ happiness and aims to continually provide the best quality products and services at competitive prices.
“People that opt to purchase windows from us, usually have done their research and know they are getting top quality at an affordable price. Just contact us and see for yourself,” added Garcia.
