When replacing your windows, “life changing” is not the reaction you would expect to have. But that’s the kind of customer feedback Windows Hawaii receives on a regular basis.
Before Rhea Olsen changed her windows in their playroom, for example, her and her husband could barely hear each other over the traffic on Kalanianaole Highway. “I [could] only hear 75 percent of what people were saying on TV. I got used to reading lips,” Olsen said, claiming that the new windows “did an excellent job at reducing the noise.”
Vincent Luzon and his wife, Ruby, didn’t know they had a view of the Koolau mountain range until Windows Hawaii replaced their 30-year-old windows. “The awning windows blocked the way. I can see all the way down to Kaneohe Marine base now,” said Luzon. It’s also a lot quieter. When his neighbors were doing repairs on their house, Luzon closed their new windows and was surprised by the silence.
For Terry Silva, the difference between her new and old windows is night and day. Her old windows were 28 years old, dated the house and a few were broken. “Three of our windows were busted and couldn’t even open. When I would close the windows, I promise the whole cul-de-sac heard. We needed a major windows remodel,” Silva said. “(The new windows) made our house look newer. It even made our roof look better. You can really tell a difference.”
The Silvas own T&T Tinting and know their windows. It was one of the reasons they chose Windows Hawaii, remain patrons and recommend the company to friends. And besides being courteous, they said the Windows Hawaii team was timely, came with a game plan and meticulously cleaned up every day.
Olsen was equally impressed, saying of lead installer JP Ribucan-Babb, “You can tell he takes pride in his job. Even things I thought, ‘Well I can live with it,’ he was like … I want to fix it … even if it doesn’t bother you.” Luzon simply added, “They were good workers. No fooling around.”
These stories prove that good windows and the right company won’t just upgrade the value of your house, but rather have the ability to transform your house into a home.
