Brian Adachi is the new president and guides the leadership team of president-elect Richard Hobson, Jr. of Gentry Homes, Ltd.; vice-president Craig Washofsk of Servco Home & Appliance Distribution; secretary Evan Fujimoto of Graham Builders, Inc.; treasurer Guy Shindo of First Hawaiian Bank; special appointee-builder Paul Silen of Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co., Inc.; special appointee-builder Mark Kennedy of Haseko Construction Management Group, Inc.; special appointee-associate Dean Uchida of SSFM International, Inc.; immediate past president Greg Thielen of Complete Construction Services Corp; and CEO Karen Nakamura of BIA-Hawaii.

The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA) is the voice of the construction Industry. The BIA is a not-for-profit trade organization chartered in 1955 and affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The BIA promotes members through advocacy and education, while providing community outreach programs and signature industry events to enhance the quality of life for the people of Hawaii.
