Stepping into a foolproof shower system

Your wedi® waterproof shower system is here at Bella Pietra Design in Honolulu, and you are invited to the company’s showroom for a free workshop.

Bella Pietra Design will show you how you can easily replace your old bathtub with the wedi 100 percent waterproof shower system and install a curbless shower without having to cut into the joists, and the company will also demonstrate the linear drain for customizable shower fl oor systems.

The free workshop will be held on Saturday, June 2 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Bella Pietra Design showroom located at 560 N. Nimitz Hwy., Ste. 107A. Free parking and refreshments will be provided.

The wedi fundo total shower solution provides an uncomplicated and fast installation process, reduces labor time from days to hours, and has the ability to be tiled the same day — all key reasons why you should use wedi for your project. The bases can be easily cut to size or extended to fi t any custom shower.

Made in Germany and fi eld tested for more than 35 years, the wedi building panels have a blue core made from chlorofluorocarbon-free extruded polystyrene rigid foam. The wedi building panel can be tiled with all types of tile whether mosaic or large format. Since it is up to 80 percent lighter than conventional methods, the wedi system will not threaten a building’s structural properties. This is great news for older homes, condos and second floor bathrooms.
