Looking forward to ‘Build New Or Re-do’
Homeworks Construction custom homes and remodeling projects, both completed and in progress, can be viewed on the company’s new user-friendly website, homeworkshawaii.com. From demolition to completion, photos and commentary on the website follow the projects as they evolve and are updated daily. The website can be accessed on mobile devices, including smart phones.
The Homeworks “Build New Or Re-do” 2016 monthly seminars with dates and topics also are posted. A free Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) workshop will kick off the series Feb. 2 at the Homeworks Showroom.
“We completed numerous new custom homes and remodeling projects in 2015 and now, with the holidays behind us, we look forward to a busy new year as people consider the potential for interest rate increases,” said Homeworks Construction President Jim Byxbee. “It makes sense to get started developing plans with cost estimates, which lenders financing a project need. They will want to review plans and
the scope of work to make sure the contractor can finish the job as proposed. So it’s really important for people to select a contractor with a proven track record and experience in all phases of construction, particularly with regard to their project. For example, for a custom home or major remodel on a diffi cult site, you should choose a contractor who can verify experience in working on such a property.
“With interior remodeling, the focus is usually kitchens and baths. In keeping with the Homeworks slogan, ‘all design and construction services under one roof,’ our award-winning kitchen designer Sean Bradshaw has a portfolio with custom designs in a wide price range. He keeps us up to date on the innovative products constantly being created by the manufacturers to serve today’s consumer, including ‘aging-in-place’ designs routinely specifi ed by the baby boomer generation.”
