BIA ‘shows off’ for homeowners
The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA-Hawaii) is very committed to our mission to “Enhance the Quality of Life for the People of Hawaii.” Our members are dedicated professionals representing developers, general contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers and associates. Today is the last day for the “Big Show,” the 20th annual BIA Home Building & Remodeling Show, at Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
This January showcase of building industry experts and companies offers consumers thousands of new products, services, building trends and remodeling techniques. It is also a very unique opportunity to ask questions, gather information and establish connections with the owners and senior managers of Hawaii’s top contractors and suppliers.
The “Big Show” also offers homeowners free consultations and special event seminars to provide additional resources for remodeling and new home construction projects. Conveniently located under one roof, consumers can come to one centralized location and discover the latest technological advances in building materials, appliances, construction innovations, architectural and interior design.
Special event seminars will focus on kitchens and bathrooms, and the Sunday seminar is scheduled at 11:30 a.m.-1p.m. “Kitchen & Bathroom Universal Design” will be presented by Curt Kiriu, CAPS, CGP, EPA certified renovator and president of CK Independent Living Builders and Evan Fujimoto, president of Graham Builders Inc. “Bathroom Universal Design” will be presented by Kiriu and “Kitchen Universal Design” will be presented by Fujimoto. This free seminar will be held in the Hawaii Suites.
We look forward to seeing you at the “Big Show.” For additional information, visit www.biahawaii.org.
