The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA-Hawaii) honored 11 entries in the 55th Annual BIA Parade of Homes last week, including the 2011 Best in Show Neighbor Island award winner Towne Development of Hawaii Inc. for its entry “Milo Court Haku Plan at Kehalani” in Wailuku, Maui. This home also won the Multi Family Low Rise Category in Division I of up to $399,000.

The free open house tour of new homes, with the 2011 theme, “Sustainable Lifestyle…Sustainable Homes” ends today, Oct. 16. This premier array of new homes will educate consumers on the latest eco-friendly technology, trends and Hawaii BuiltGreen energy innovations in residential construction. Great homes at great values are being showcased in 10 entries located on Oahu in Ewa Beach, Honolulu, Kapolei and Ma‘ili.
